2012 the year of Gallus’ arrival will pass for the 1400th time. An important moment in the development of city and Canton of St.Gallen.
The figure Gallus is deeply connected to values of St.Gallen and the diverse legacy of 1400 years of history. A good reason to celebrate – and an opportunity to deal with our own identity. What is St.Gallen made up of today? How are we making use of our time and our liberty?
The Gallus Jubilee looks back on 1400 years of development. It reaches into the present and into what can be tomorrow: «This is where I will stay», said Gallus. What will we do?
